MecPower Energy approached Communication Crafts to create the brand identity, strategy, and launch campaign for their EV 2-wheeler brand- RunR. The EV 2-wheeler industry was struggling with major challenges like low awareness, trust, and willingness to buy an EV over a petrol vehicle. It needed to compete with a couple of giants who had already established themselves in the segment, establishing the brand as a worthy competitor not only against the giants but also the traditional petrol 2-wheelers.

Solution:

Communication Crafts began with an in-depth study of the current state of the EV 2-wheeler industry to create a detailed strategy for the new brand development. We identified the gaps and created RunR from scratch, starting from its brand name to the logo, positioning, and story. A detailed brand strategy was defined to establish a solid base for long-term brand evolution as well as its imminent launch. With a very easy and catchy brand name and striking visual identity, RunR is ready to rule the roads to the future of EV adoption.

As the EV 2-wheeler market gets crowded with a series of me-too products with uninteresting brand identities, RunR stands apart with a highly noticeable and impactful brand identity. It connects instantly with the TG through its simple yet self-explanatory name, clear brand positioning, and a well-defined marketing strategy that continues to not only set it apart in the EV 2-wheeler segment but also pitches it strongly against the leading petrol 2-wheeler brands.
